Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, 28 August 2008 to consider, among other subjects, the Financial Results for the period January - June 2008.

The results will be announced on the same day to the Athens Stock Exchange and to the Cyprus Stock Exchange and will be presented to analysts at 5.30 pm. Furthermore, they will be published in daily press on Friday, 29 August 2008.
